The Archon Files

Explorations of a Cosmic Enigma

The Archon Files is a sub-category of Gnostique, a selection of mystical and metacritical views by site author John Lash.

Melchizedek, Chartres Cathedral, 13C CE
In Gnostic terms, master of the alien control game.
In mythical terms, Lord of the Clones.

Metahistory.org presents extensive material on "the topic of topics," as Carlos Castaneda called it: namely, predation upon the human species by alien or extraterrestrial entities. Over the years since the inauguration of metahistory.org (July 2002), this topic has received enormous attention. John's explanation of the Gnostic view of alien intrusion has been widely discussed on the Internet and in other global and local media.

The Gnostic view of the ET/UFO phenomenon is unique on several points. First, it frames the topic in the mythuc scenario of the fallen goddess Sophia, a directive story taught in the pre-Christian Mysteries. Second, it offers a way to distinguish the alien m.o. and degree of influence upon humanity. Third, but not last, it presents concrete advice on how to resist and repel alien intrusion. Textual evidence surviving in fragmentary form in the Nag Hammadi Codices indicates that the ancient seers who led the Mysteries had direct knowledge of the origin, motives, methods, and appearance of both Grey-type and reptilian ETs. The writings in this section explore and extrapolate the Gnostic view of our cosmic cousins, inorganic entities they called Archons.
